Based in very modern offices in central London, they deliver cutting-edge B2B content marketing and communications lead-generation campaigns for their clients across content, performance and social marketing. The Head of New Business Development senior business will be joining a B2B content and communications marketing agency with a friendly, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture and an excellent track record of success and achievements. 

About the head of New Business Development

This is a senior sales role for someone who loves engaging with senior marketing heads across enterprise and winning bespoke makreting solution assignments. Supported by a marketing and SDR team this Head of New Business Development will report directly into the Agency Director and will have the remit of engaging with household brands across technology, financial services and professional services.

 

Key Responsibilities for the Head of New Business Development:

  

  • Engage with senior marketing professional in B2B brands across enterprise: Tech, Financial Services etc. 
  • Build and nurture a high-value sales funnel assisted by the marketing and SDR team
  • Lead, manage and close the new business pitch process
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach

 

About You

You’ll be an ambitious and communicative sales professional, with a solid B2B sales background within a creative agency environment:

 

Skills and experience needed for the Client Director / Senior Business Development Manager role:

  • 5+ years sales experience for a B2B agency within the marketing and / or communications space
  • Experience leading on high-value marketing proposals
  • Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a customer-first approach to sales
