My client, a leading publisher and manufacturer of entertainment magazines and collectables, is looking for an outstanding Head of Marketing & Product Development to join their growing business. A brand new role, this position has been created especially to grow new products lines outside of their traditional categories. The successful candidate will build a brand new programme of product development outside their core competencies and grow a team whilst they are at it. Work will be end to end from brainstorming new ideas (no idea is too big or too silly!), to working with creative teams to design the product to sourcing and negotiating with manufactures through to launch to market. You are known for your innovative and brave approach to NPD. In your current place of work people enjoying your vision and creativity. You are a real self-starter, super proactive with the energy to really get things off the ground. You are likely someone that has developed products for a youth audience and understand entertainment, music, film and maybe even comic book culture! You are a free spirit who enjoys autonomy. In this role you will be granted a free rein creativity speaking and the opportunity to develop something new from scratch.
