Starting salary £39,708 rising to £42,777 per annum

Aberlour is the largest, solely Scottish, children’s charity with more than 40 services across Scotland. We work with Scotland’s hidden children to ensure that every child has the chance to flourish. Our fundraising and marketing team are essential in helping to ensure that our services can make a positive difference to children and families across Scotland.
In the spring of 2018 we plan to launch a new and exciting fundraising and awareness raising campaign. We aim to take Aberlour to the next level, significantly increasing our income, strengthening our brand recognition, extending our reach and ultimately enabling us to help more children. You will have the opportunity, as part of the senior team within the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate, to be an integral part of this plan and to help make is a success.
You will be a strategic thinker, creative and meticulous in your approach. You will be an exceptional communicator and have planned and delivered marketing and communications strategies. You will have a proven track record of developing compelling campaign propositions and of managing design and PR agency relationships.
You will have significant experience working as a marketing and communications executive at a managerial level and will have a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 10 (or have equivalent knowledge acquired by other means). Ideally you will also have knowledge or experience in fundraising as well as an awareness of supporting policy work.
This is a full time permanent post which can be based within our Glasgow or Stirling office, with a significant need to be in Glasgow.
