Our client is seeking a highly-experienced marketing professional to head up its’ Marketing Department.   With responsibility for seven diverse brands and raising the overall profile of the organisation, this is a challenging yet rewarding role.

The Head of Marketing will be a member of the senior management team along with the other core functions (sales, finance, HR, data, events, digital and editorial).

Managing a small team consisting of executives, designers and assistants, this is a role that requires a balance between setting top-level strategy and actual execution. The job holder will need to have exemplary multi-tasking skills and a creative flair and passion for marketing. The company is highly ambitious, developing all business areas at a rapid rate with staff numbers and revenues growing by more than 50% in the last 3 years. With footholds in strong, robust, expanding market places, opportunities are plentiful.  Significant business development is underway and although operating in an ever-changing media landscape, our client has seen tremendous growth across the board. The main revenue lines of the business are print, digital and events.

Our client is fiercely independent yet capable of competing with the biggest players in the media industry.  They have some unique strategic relationships in their market places and the Business has invested extensively in assembling a very experienced, passionate and determined team.

Each brand has between 8-12 core topic areas, on which all the relevant business functions are centred.  The Business is aspiring to create and nurture highly-engaged communities around these subject areas.  All their content, regardless of format, is focussed on the core topic areas, from live events to webinars, and surveys to printed collateral. These core areas also form the basis for their data demographics and the marketing efforts need to be highly targeted to these sub-groups.

2017 sees every brand undergo a facelift, with newly designed responsive, sleek and engaging websites being rolled out. The corporate collateral is also in the process of being modernized and overhauled.

Competitive salary and bonus package.
