Our client has been a household name in Manchester since 1999 & they have been delivering brand and creative campaign services to a range of well known brands. Over the past twelve months, the management team have developed a proposition that enables them to act as their clients marketing function through a range of services that include on site support, software and a range of competencies designed to enable the function to be outsourced effectively. They are now looking to build an ambitious business over the next 3 years and a key part of the strategy is to identify and hire a highly experienced Head of CLient Services.
As a key member of the leadership team, this role is fundamental in driving forward the agency. This role will oversee both the account and digital teams, ensuring that the agencies service delivery is fully optimised.
With a growing retained client base, where they often acts as the client's marketing function, you'll take full ownership for clients marketing plans from initial workshops through to monthly and quarterly reporting.
You'll be supported by an account manager, a digital marketing manager, a marketing exec (working client side) and two digital marketing executives. To grow our retained business we will also look to recruit a business development manager over the coming months.
Their clients are mostly b2c and look to them as their marketing function or their campaign management agency including primarily hotel, leisure and education sector organisations.
You'll have overall responsibility for the profit & loss, attending leadership team meetings where you'll present from a client services perspective.
Day to day responsibilities include;
●Creating processes to further enhance our retained marketing proposition
●Overseeing social and digital campaigns
●Create a newly enlarged client services team that encompases the digital marketing function
●Identify opportunities working closely with our key clients
You'll have a good understanding of marketing planning, comfortable working at a senior level and able to manage the marketing mix across both digital and traditional media. You'll possess the ability to manage digital campaigns that incorporate a mix of paid media, content development and web design.
It is envisaged that the right candidate will have the potential to become Client Services Director within a determined timeframe.
