My client's business is on a journey of positive transformation in which their goal is to form a world-leading brand in the building products/building materials space.
Due to significant investment in marketing, the business has set up a global centre of excellence in London, to bring to market their value propositions within roofing materials and construction.
As part of this journey of expansion, they are looking to recruit a Group Marketing Manager, reporting into the Group Marketing Director, and playing a vital role in building a B2B product and marketing organisation to position the brand as the market leader, admired by customers globally.
About the role:
This is a high-visibility role, with the core purpose of positioning the brand as the first choice in roofing excellence.
-You will be supporting a marketing function driven by value propositions and "systems solutions", moving the business away from a transactional and purely sales-led approach.
-Creating and inspiring a customer-centric mind-set through the organisation.
-Understanding the needs of various European markets in a truly international setting.
-Enabling high performance teamwork with all internal and external partners.
-Capturing B2B customer insights, behaviours, attitudes and touch-points throughout the customer journey.
-Value proposition development, helping to provide clarity of positioning, differentiation of systems and quality of messaging.
-Initiative development, design, launch and planning, working in collaboration with regions and countries to understand local needs.
-Marketing campaign design and implementation across relevant categories and international regions. Working with relevant agencies to develop marketing campaigns to support brands and initiatives.
-Annual marketing planning process, leading the marketing strategy development for each roofing category, in collaboration with international offices.
-Marketing budget management for appropriate initiatives.
-Tracking and demonstrating ROI on marketing initiatives and applying this to relevant category and brands.
The ideal candidate:
-You will be someone who thrives in a dynamic, exciting and transformational environment.
-5+ years' experience (ideally B2B focused), including European experience.
-Demonstrates strong leadership, partnering, collaboration and entrepreneurial skills.
-Excellent, proven presentation skills - written, verbal and audience.
-Flexible to travel to Europe on a regular basis (monthly approximately).
-Building materials experience or industry related experience is strongly preferred.
-Entrepreneurial spirit, with the drive and determination to realise business success.
-Inquisitive personality with the ability to work in fast-paced teams.
