Are you a senior communications specialist with strong experience across the communications disciplines working in complex organisational settings? Do you want to apply your expertise to some of the most important issues facing the UK and play a direct role in shaping the country’s future?

We are looking to recruit a number of talented strategic leads to join the Home Office Communications Directorate on communications activity to support the UK’s successful withdrawal from the European Union.

Successful candidates will display a blend of political insight and intelligence, strategic clarity of thinking and strong influencing and collaboration skills. You will be expected to forge strong relationships with ministers, senior officials and colleagues across government, as well as a range of partners and external stakeholders. In the strategic communications team, you will be expected to knit together communications activity across the disciplines to reach audiences with credible, useful material that builds trust and engagement in one of the most sensitive and important parts of the government’s programme.

You will be expected to develop, plan and implement communications strategies that deliver measurable change. You will therefore need demonstrable experience across the communications mix and to have the authority, personal impact and personal resilience to bring people with you and finish what you have begun.
