Our client is a highly-respected player within their industry, at the forefront of innovation and with a fresh approach to online retail. This role will be pivotal in the strategic development of their ecommerce business, so ideally you will have gained at least 3 years' experience in an Ecommerce Manager role for a retail business. You will have a thorough understanding of the inner workings of a transactional website and will be responsible for improving the customer journey to drive sales. This role would be particularly suited to an analytical individual with a strong commercial mindset, who also has the creative flair to implement ideas that excite the consumer.
As Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for a hugely successful online retail website, ensuring all technical aspects are running smoothly and that all creative elements enhance the user experience. You will develop strategies and produce creative concepts to enhance the design and layout of the website which, in turn, will drive traffic and sales to the website and result in an improved customer experience. This role is divided between the creative and strategic and the analytical; you will be responsible for testing updates to the website and implementing changes based on the results. You will also use Google Analytics to analyse the performance of the website, and make recommendations for future website activity.
