Full commercial & strategic responsibility for eCommerce across both grocery.com and pureplay for a £bn food business.
As with many FMCG's right now the business are significantly over-investing in eCommerce but, unlike some others, they are backing it up with commitment both in terms of internal buy-in and financial backing.
They're growing through acquisition and in a healthy position to invest in some exciting new brands that lend themselves well to eCommerce so this role would have great scope to have a tangible impact on revenue growth.
First and foremost they need someone who knows how to sell online. Sounds simple but ultimately it's the core of this role, so you'll need to be able to demonstrate a track record of driving profitable growth either working for a retailer / pureplayer or selling in.
In addition they need someone who can influence internally and is up for the challenge of upskilling other members of the business when it comes to all things digital & eCommerce.
