We are now seeking to recruit a Director of External Relations to provide strategic and operational leadership for the University's marketing, communications and student recruitment, including international, and development activities. With responsibility for the development of our brand and core market proposition, you will deliver tangible improvements to the University’s reputation and reach regionally, nationally and internationally. As a member of the senior team, reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, you will strengthen internal communications to support organisational development and shape a positive results-driven culture.

The successful candidate will be an experienced communications, marketing or student recruitment leader with a good understanding of the higher education sector and its complexity. You will bring exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to innovate and drive ambitious outcomes focused strategies. You will have experience of management in large and complex organisations, and an ability to inspire and motivate across a broad range of stakeholders.
