Leader in Business Intelligence Tools is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to provide support to the business. This is a varied role with the opportunity to contribute to and learn from many areas of the business, offering wide scope for growth and progression for the right candidate.

Digital Marketing Specialist Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the management and implementation of digital marketing strategy in line with product delivery of software version releases. Work across teams within the business to deliver and improve our online strategy including SEO, web strategy and content.

+ Develop online strategy and take ownership of website content and design updates via WordPress and Weebly. Identify website improvements and create, test and deploy new website features.
+ Develop engaging online content including videos, graphics, and blogs; monitor and analyse content success.
+ Overall responsibility for analysing and reporting on website effectiveness. Use Google Analytics and other relevant sites to drive traffic to company pages.
+ Develop and implement SEO strategies.
+ Oversee and manage email marketing campaigns.
+ Produce and maintain digital marketing materials, including graphics and literature (video production an advantage) using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Requirements of the role:

+ Experience with managing website CMS such as WordPress and Weebly
+ Understanding of responsive design for desktop, tablet and mobile
+ Experience in paid and natural search
+ Experience in measuring success of campaigns and activities, and reporting these to business executives
+ Experience with delivering or managing online community infrastructure (not essential but an advantage)
+ Previous exposure to marketing activities throughout the customer journey (including post sale) within a B2B environment
+ An ability to work autonomously, whilst prioritising effectively to meet deadlines and manage dependencies
+ Comfortable with learning technical acronyms and new technology (experience in software/IT an advantage)
+ An understanding of distribution channels in the IT/telecoms arena
+ Sound understanding of marketing principles, online strategy and commercial awareness
+ Able to research, analyse websites using Google Analytics being able to make decisions regarding optimisation and copy
+ Thrives in a busy, dynamic and varied environment

Qualifications and experience:

+ A degree, preferably in marketing (not essential but an advantage)
+ Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing including brand awareness, with a solid understanding of online marketing SEO, Google Analytics, PPC / Google Adwords, social media.
+ Strong independent decision-making, organisational, planning and problem-solving skills dealing with daily challenges
+ Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
+ Ability to work independently and within a team environment
+ Excellent spoken and written English
+ Computer literate (excellent Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and website CMS, specifically WordPress skills)

Remuneration, Benefits and Working Hours

+ The role is a full-time position, 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility to work from home on agreed days of the week.
+ Salary range £35-40K per annum
+ 20 days holiday increasing every year up to a maximum of 25 days
