Our client is a well-established retailer who looking to continue their digital growth by adding a digital marketing manager to their team as they continue to invest into their digital and eCommerce presence.

As Digital Marketing Manager you will lead their digital traffic acquisition and deliver profitable growth across affiliates, display, SEO, PPC, and social media channels. You will manage a team to triumph, regularly liaising with the wider digital and marketing teams such as content PR and CRM.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Responsible for revenue exceeding 50 million pounds across both organic and paid channels
  • Manage multi-million-pound budgets and make plans for future investments
  • Deliver digital traffic acquisition targets for the business and plan and execute all digital marketing strategies in line with business objectives and values
  • Generate ideas for the marketing content plan ensuring spend is distributed across relevant channels and categories at the optimum time
  • Build robust partnerships with external agencies and ensure industry best practice is installed across the organisation
  • Collaborate with the ecommerce team to ensure digital trading, content, digital marketing and development activities coincide with business goals
  • Strategically develop all search activity utilising SEO and PPC bid management tools as well as AdWords to manage campaign and portfolio performance
  • Optimise full PPC and SEO strategy and budgets
  • Energise SEO strategy securing inbound links to improve organic search rankings for identified keywords
  • Use Adobe Analytics to drive insight on performance and recommend improvements for search traffic performance
  • Manage and mentor a team of Executives and act as a leader within the wider ecommerce team

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 5 years digital marketing experience
  • Proficient with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Bing and MS
  • Experienced running and growing affiliate programs
  • In-depth understanding of PPC, paid social and technical SEO
  • Data-driven and analytically minded
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication skills
  • Confident in managing and educating senior stakeholders across the business on digital marketing initiatives
  • Basic understanding of HTML is desirable
  • Experience working in a multi-channel retail environment is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of analytics packages is favourable
