Job Description

Digital Consultant
£35,000 to £45,000

Founded by the team who re-defined the way British politics uses digital, this consultancy works with an exciting range of organisations - from disruptive tech startups to established FTSE 100 companies - to transform how digital is used to drive real results.

They're a team of digital consultants and creatives that bring together digital strategy, content creation and campaign execution to offer their clients an end-to-end service - and that blends the strategic thinking of a consultancy with the creative execution and agility of an agency.

Their team includes people from political, advertising, agency, charity and creative backgrounds - and they're growing quickly.

They're currently looking for a Consultant with expertise in two or more of the following areas:

1. Digital Strategy
2. Content Creation
3. Campaign Execution

The Role and The Responsibilities:
Client management:
o Day-to-day client contact on established accounts
o Work with client teams to set up campaigns and keep activity moving
o Provide campaign reporting and updates to client

Digital content:
o Drafting copy for organic and paid social media posts
o Developing and managing digital content plans
o Working up creative ideas that are focused on delivering business results for a client
o Inputting into digital content creation, including videos, graphics and animations
o Organising and attending shoots

Digital campaigns and strategies:
o Supporting senior members of the team to develop digital strategies and campaigns
o Setting up and running paid digital campaigns, including targeting and budget
o Daily monitoring and optimisation of live campaigns
o Proactive recommendations for optimisations and improvements to both paid and organic digital campaigns
o Reporting on digital metrics and analytics

Analysis and research:
o Undertaking research for digital audits and/or new business
o Audience mapping and targeting profiles
o Social media listening and analysis

Being part of the team:
o Taking part in internal and client-facing brainstorms
o Sharing inspiration and knowledge across the company
o Helping with new business research and proposals

The Requirements:
* 3+ years in a digital role
* Strong experience of day-to-day client management
* Strong copy-writing skills, particularly for digital content (ads, landing pages, email)
* Understanding of different creative formats and digital executions
* Ability to develop concepts for digital assets
* Strategic approach to digital communications, informed by data and insight
* Strong understanding of different digital channels - and the opportunities, audience and objectives of each
* Experience of running digital channels for clients or organisations
* Experience of running paid digital campaigns, including setting up audiences and budgets
* Working knowledge of digital analytics and reporting, including in-platform analytics
* Experience with third party management tools and social listening tools
* Strong written skills and attention to detail
* Proactive team player
* Good time management and prioritisation skills
* A desire to learn

* Basic design or editing skills

* Google AdWords
* SEO Experience
* Website build / CMS skills
* Corporate comms experience
