This is an exceptional role for many reasons, but it will take a certain type of character to bring this role to life. So, a global comms agency have decided about 12 months ago to start a future facing digital PR agency that covers everything from paid, owned & earned content. The founder built the foundations and now it's time for him to make his first senior hire, and here we are.
Now, set up in Victoria these guys have a portfolio of clients that have carried over from sister agencies, specialising in retail and luxury! So, what are the key elements of this role? It's a great split across most areas of social, ranging from implementing client social content strategies, all the way through to creating content from planning to execution.
With it being both a paid and owned content role, your day to day will vary, but you've got to be comfortable with putting paid social campaigns together (Mainly Facebook) but also comfortable in creating the content being distributed by these luxury brands!
You'll manage a Digital Executive who is mainly in charge of community management and uploading the campaigns through tools such as Hootsuite, Brandwatch etc. meaning you will have to be comfortable in these tools too. As it's a manager level role, you'll play a big role in client leadership, partnering and creating a relationship that breathes success.
As it is a client facing role, that means you'll get to do some travelling! Paris, Milan, Dubai are all hot spots for this agencies client base and you've guessed it, you'll be heading to these beautiful parts of the world! Speaking of travel, one of the hottest areas for these brands is travel influencers, you don't need to know these influencers already, but you must understand how to partner on an always on basis!
