Based in state of the art, purpose built offices in South Manchester, this new-to-the-business role plays a crucial part in collating, analysing and interpreting the vast amounts of digital data available. Having experience of industry-leading tools and the full customer journey, you will be integral in measuring success and play a key role in the direction the business takes over the coming years and beyond.
Digital Analytics Manager - Key responsibilities
*Lead the digital analysis team to deliver analysis and insight that helps define digital services.
*Present findings in an engaging and informative format, often to non-digital stakeholders.
*Interpret key findings and make recommendations that will be used in developmental roadmaps and optimising user experience.
*Support the development and application of digital measurement techniques across the media portfolio
*Analyse user engagement and traffic through all digital channels.
*Ensure that all data used is accurate and robust.
*Keep up to date with digital analytics trends
*Think strategically, identify issues early and plan accordingly.
*Build strong working relationships with commercial teams and the wider business.
Digital Analytics Manager - skills and experience
*Demonstrable experience in delivering analysis and identifying trends within a major organisation.
*Expert knowledge of using web analytics tools including Google Analytics, Omniture, and WebTrends.
*Working knowledge of panel-based sources of web usage data - comScore, Hitwise, Nielsen
*A track record of delivering analysis and insights which have shaped the direction of the business.
*An ability to devise new ways of better exploiting data, identifying insights and presenting data in a stimulating and actionable way.
*Sound understanding of online technology and website structures.
Salary of up to £55,000 + benefits.
