Bravissimo is an award-winning multi-channel retailer that provides lingerie, swimwear and clothing for women who are D-L cup. We want big boobed women to feel amazing, and we aim to inspire our customers to celebrate their figures and feel good about themselves. We have 29 shops in the UK as well as a well-established e-commerce and mail order operation which accounts for c.50% of the company’s turnover. For the last 12 years we have been one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for. We have ambitious plans and are looking for an innovative Content, PR and Social Manager to spread the word about Bravissimo to help us achieve our plans for growth, and create highly engaging content for our communications , ensuring we listen to our customers, learn from them, laugh with them and are inspired by them.
About the role
As our Content, PR and Social Manager, you will have a small team and will be responsible for providing brand content, ideas, features and copy to the marketing team but also to other teams in the organisation. Your challenge will be to consistently bring the Bravissimo spirit into all content to ensure that our purpose, values and brand shine through and create joy in our customers and people. We have many fantastic and loyal customers who you will need to spend time with, and through learning about their experiences, you will be passionate about finding ways to continually inspire them and make them smile whether that’s through emails, our magazine, our shops, our website or our social platforms.
You will be highly skilled and experienced in ways to promote and raise the awareness of our brand to a wider audience, ensuring that our spirit, purpose and brand is conveyed creatively and consistently because we are the champion of women with big boobs. You will identify opportunities and build contacts with the media, influencers, bloggers, online editors and agencies to develop relationships, strategies and activities which support our long-term plan. Your team will manage our press office ensuring all opportunities are followed up and you will act as a company spokesperson when appropriate.
We are looking for an experienced, creative and empathetic Content, PR and Social Manager who is inspired by our purpose and believes in our brand. You will be completely open and up for learning about the unique relationship we have with our customers and be able to apply this learning to your day to day work. You will be passionate about language and words and the impact they have on peoples’ emotions. You will be energetic, articulate, a great communicator of ideas and able to give constructive feedback to those you work with. Ideally you will have good experience in PR and social, strong writing skills, and have skills in social and digital. You will be curious, interested in culture and connected to what’s current. A degree is preferable.
