Communications Officer - maternity cover - PJRJCCO
We are working with a leading Cambridge College, who are currently seeking to appoint a talented communications professional, to undertake a wide variety of activities to support both their internal and external communications.

Responsibilities will include the delivery of the College's communication strategy and the management of media relations, in particular positively engaging with them to promote 'good news' stories. A variety of other communication activities such as external marketing and preparation of publications, branding strategy, web maintenance including social media, and supporting Freedom of Information requests will also be undertaken. You will play an integral role in using your expertise to guide the College and its members on all communication related matters.

You will have experience of working in a similar public relations role and an exemplary track record in media communications and implementing communication strategies. You will be creative, driven and genuinely passionate about your career in communications and this will be backed up by solid copy-writing and administrative skills. Previous experience of proactively building relationships with the media and external agencies is essential.

They offer a generous benefits including a salary of up to £36,000 depending on qualifications and experience. This is a maternity cover appointment for a period of one year commencing in May 2017.
