Our client is a pioneer in their industry, looking for a talented and driven PR and Communications Executive to join their thriving team. As the PR and Communications Executive, you will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of all PR activity including planning events and controlling their social media channels. This role offers plenty of variety with a proportion of the role involving visiting charities, schools, and businesses, to boost the corporate social responsibility of the business.
Main Roles and Responsibilities of the PR and Communications Executive:
- Build brand image by working closely with local communities and disadvantaged groups
- Work closely alongside the marketing team in the creation of all PR content across multiple platforms
- Carry out primary and secondary research that results in the development of primary and secondary content
- Write press releases for relevant publications
- Assist with the planning and implementation of customer and community events
- Respond to any enquiries and requests around sponsorship and support making management team aware of any opportunities
- Ensure sustainability and PR has been considered in all marketing campaigns
The Ideal Candidate:
- A degree in a business or marketing related subject
- Experienced in delivering successful PR and communications strategy
- Excellent copywriting skills across multiple channels including press releases
- Able to build strong relationships with colleagues, networks and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Able to deliver results through structured and well organised projects
- Experience liaising with UK media
- Comfortable working in a B2B and B2C environment
- Must hold a full UK driving license
- Social media management experience highly advantageous
