We are currently on the lookout for a permanent Marketing Performance Consultant in our Customer channel team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and analysing the performance of trading and marketing campaign execution with the objective of influencing key KPI’s including sales channel traffic.

Ideally you will have an analytical background and a background in commercial performance. 

Job Context

As a Marketing Performance Consultant you will be responsible for understanding and analysing the performance of trading and marketing campaign execution with the objective of influencing key KPI’s including sales channel traffic.

Key Attributes:

  • Analysis of existing KPI trends e.g traffic
  • Understand and build strategy plans for traffic initiatives
  • Define and deliver in depth analysis of brand campaigns, laddering up to commercial goals
  • A cross functional leader and influencer able to engage across disciplines and at all levels within the company

Roles & Responsibilities

Data Collection & Analysis Works independently to collate and analyze data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats. 

Work Scheduling / Allocation Designs own monthly schedule and assigns work to other staff as needed in order to expedite office workflow and accomplish high-priority tasks. 

Strategic Planning Delivers prescribed outcomes for area of responsibility by working within established strategic planning systems. 

Performance Management Helps manage the performance of direct reports by working within performance management systems. 

Marketing Develops and/or delivers a plan for significant aspects of a product, service or marketing area while working under the guidance of senior colleagues. 

Leadership and Direction Delivers outcomes by managing others and working within established systems. 

Financial Management & Control Monitors and analyzes data as directed using established finance systems and protocols. 

Building Capability Develops personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required. 

Budgeting & Costing Takes responsibility for delivering a prescribed budget for own area of the organization and/or conducts complex analyses on budget progress in other areas while working within established systems. 

Technical Skills Marketing Commercialization Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing the best possible commercial proposition that fulfills the needs of the client and the marketplace. 

Financial Modelling Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing financial and economic models for planning and monitoring purposes. 

Customer and Market Analysis Conducts research and analyzes data without supervision while providing technical guidance as needed in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market conditions that enables maximum return on investments.

Data Management Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on acquiring, organizing, protecting and processing data to fulfill business objectives. 

Data Collection and analysis Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making. 

Action Planning Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements. 

Planning and Organizing Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives. 

Computer skills Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed. 

Commercial Acumen Acts independently to apply comprehensive understanding of the business environment and objectives developing solutions while providing guidance and training to others. 

Review and Reporting Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on reviewing and creating relevant, lucid and effective reports.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

General Education High School / FE College (2 A Levels) 

Experience Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others

Managerial Experience Experience of general supervision of more junior colleagues  You will have a background in commercial performance and analytical roles with a focus on:

  • Trend analysis, with the ability to provide key take outs of performance coupled with recommendations
  • Highly analytical
  • Great influencing and collaboration skills

  • Advance excel user
