A global Not-for-Profit organisation are looking for an experienced Comments Editor to join their inspiring team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will hold a science related degree and have at least two years' experience in a similar role, with a strong exposure to magazine editing.
As Comment Editor, you will be responsible for driving engagement with the magazines audience and both maintaining and developing their credibility within the industry. This role will have you involved in:
*Commissioning opinion-lead content and commentary on industry related topics
*Driving audience engagement through encouraging debate and conversations across digital platforms
*Produce and edit written features for a range of cultural topics
*Aid in the development of the magazines content strategy
*Liaise with external freelances, offering guidance and support where necessary
This is a great opportunity for a passionate Comments Editor with a love for science to join an ever-growing team and contribute towards their excellent work.
Due to the location of their offices this role is commutable from Cambridge, Huntingdon, Stevenage, Newmarket, Ely, Cottenham, Bury St Edmunds, St Neots, Royston, Saffron Walden, Baldock, Haverhill, Letchworth and Bishops Stortford.
