Channel Marketing Manager - Telecoms
£40k - £50k per annum

A global, marketing leading brand in consumer electronics and tech and telecoms is currently recruiting for a talented Channel Marketing Manager to join the team at a time of rapid growth.
The Channel Marketing Manager will create excellence within the marketing function that stands above the company's competitors, creating and implementing a range of promotional activity within dedicated accounts and increasing mobile market share.
-Managing channel marketing activity within all consumer and business channels of a key mobile network partner across online, retail, call centres, indirect and retention activities to ensure an effective 6 month marketing plan is implemented effectively.
-Understanding customer account requirements and opportunities through proactive relationship management at all levels. Creating and implementing activities which will fulfil these needs in a timely, creative way.
-Assisting national account managers in selling new devices through the channel, using clear presentation of the ATL marketing plan, and developing bespoke BTL initiative to stimulate demand within the channel.
-Anticipating competitive forces both in the market and channels and planning ahead to limit the impact of these on mobile sales.
-Ensuring marketing budget is allocated in the most cost effective manner to maximise ROI. Based on projected sales, you will ensure activity is in line with accruals.
-Understanding stock and sales figures for each product in the range and ensuring these sell through the channel in a timely manner.
-Providing a schedule or product/device training alongside the training team.
-Working alongside the PR team to deliver channel specific PR campaigns, such as product exclusives.
-Managing all other sponsorship, promotional or training events relevant to the channel.
-Working with the online and content teams to present new and creative ideas for product differentiation through online strategies.
-Telecoms background, ideally with a vendor in the same or at Marketing Manager level within a mobile/phone network.
-Able to demonstrate experience across all marketing mix -ATL, BTL, etc.
-Strong PowerPoint skills.
-Commercial ability to produce business case and ROI on marketing investment.
-Used to working with big marketing budgets.
-Great interpersonal skills.
-Plenty of initiative, passion and creativity!
-Proven ability to seek out and build relationships across the channel contract matrix.
-Able to work on multiple projects.
