A Category Manager is urgently needed to join this Global Tech Brand based in Surrey for a full time contract of 6-12 months (with the possibility to become a permanent role).
The role is to focus on this global brand's 'Experience' stores. 6 months ago these were 'experience' stores in the loosest sense of the word, so they want to make them more commercially astute and to turn those experiences into sales.
The Channel Marketing Manager is currently responsible for the day to day on POS, any in store comms/experiences, window displays, etc so they are looking for people to support her role and report into her.
They are also starting to push alternative products through these stores, where they have been typically quite mobile focused. They are focusing on how all of their smart products can work together and as a whole.
You will be spending 4 days a week at the headquarters in Surrey and 1 day a week visiting stores across the UK.
Is this you?
You have either worked clientside as a category manager or if you have an agency side background then you would be an experienced account manager or a senior account manager.
You will have 2-3 years experience.
In either cases you will need to have worked for a large retailer.
You will need to be used to pushing things through quickly and efficiently and working at high volume.
This will be a fast paced role in a very stimulating and exciting environment.
