Category & Business Insights Lead- HIGH GROWTH SME - HEALTHY FOOD & DRINK

£60,000 - £70,000 + benefits + bonus

The Company

Making waves in the category and Food and Beverage industry, this business has innovated a new categories within Multiple Grocery retail.  Continuing their success across QSR and convenience markets, this is an exciting time of growth. 


The Role

Newly created, this Category & Business Insights Manager will be primely positioned to make a big impact.  

This is an SME, so you need to be the type of person who can roll up your sleeves and get involved in the basic data analysis as well as influence and shape the strategy.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, who has a wealth of industry experience and genuinely brings a bit of magic to grocery customer relationships, you'll help to turn analysis into actionable insight to make impactful change in terms of selling stories for distribution, ranging, listings and all sales critical functions.

You'll use a range of market and sales data, be able to spot trends and opportunity, be able to analyse how products perform day by day or week to week, as well as attend meetings with retailer buyers and marketing teams.

You'll need...

  • at least 4-5 years commerial experience in a sales / marketing / category team within an FMCG company (ideally chilled / dairy / short shelf life products)
  • 2 years specific expertise within FMCG grocery market analysis, used to turning data into actionable insight
  • A bright, positive and highly motivated approach
  • Ability to operate at all levels and drive success from the ground up
