As Business Development Manager, you will need to take full accountability for proactively sourcing new opportunities by effectively targeting clients, mainly via telephone in order to communicate the agency's consumer insight offering.
You will be pivotal in cultivating and managing relationships with existing and potential key clients, strategic partner firms and independent agencies. You will develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction, arrange business meetings with prospective clients, keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.,
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for a Business Development Manager with commercial awareness, someone who has the ability to highlight risk and resolution, budget management experience, be able to accurately forecast and record sales bookings and be able to interpret reports.
You'll have proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or another relevant sales based role. You'll also have strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to build rapport and will possess sound time management and planning skills.
As Business Development Manager you'll be target driven, so you will be aiming to reach targets which you will be rewarded for, so it is essential that you are motivated. You must be confident, as you will be regularly negotiating services and costs. As you will be presenting ideas, someone with a creative mind would be ideal!
The role will be predominantly office based to begin with but you should also expect to attend meetings across the UK with prospective clients and you may be required to attend occasional industry and networking events.
