The Company
Leading provider of news, data and events on mergers & acquisitions within the finance industry are looking for a proven Business Development salesperson with experience in Subscription sales to bring in new business clients for their paid financial news subscription platform.
The Role
- Sourcing leads, generating pipeline, sending proposals, pitching and successfully closing deals
- You will be targeting corporate financial clients. Finding leads from clients still using the free service
- Ensuring all admin is in order including financial documents such as invoices and contracts
- Responding to email requests for proposals
- Working toward annual and monthly revenue targets
The candidate
- They are looking for a new business hunter with 2+ year's experience in a business development role selling digital subscriptions
- Being organised is very important. Organising pipeline using spreadsheets etc. Someone who will write down feedback and is able to report it back concisely
- Looking for someone who is happy to do admin for existing clients, invoicing, have an attention to detail
- Candidate must be confident with making outbound phone calls, bright, enthusiastic and have a passion for closing deals. Use initiative, ask questions, pro active
