Are you an experienced solution-led salesperson with experience and contacts selling into the pharmaceutical industry and are you looking for your next role?
The Company:
Due to expansion, this leader in real world data and digital solutions for the health-care industry and are looking for a solution orientated Business Development Director to join their sales team to lead the business development activities of the company and drives new sales business for the company playing a key role in the company's bottom line. Utilising established market-based insight and relationships to help develop and sell new and innovative real-world data solutions to pharmaceutical and health-care clients.
With offices located in Central London you will benefit from working for a market leader in their space with the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry. You'll also benefit from working on multi-billion-dollar accounts and working for a business that really invest in their people, with a real low turnover in staff.
The Role:
* Proactively sell their business intelligence tool to your existing patch and prospective clients to deliver maximum revenue.
* Sourcing and creating new contacts via research, networking and events across your dedicated sales patch.
* Work across all relevant touch points to develop and expand your contact base.
* Working closely with the Creative, Editorial and Account Servicing teams to successfully execute advertising campaigns
* Attend face-to-face meetings and present to all clients to develop relationships across your patch.
The candidate:
* Experience having sold a solution-based product/service to ensure per agreed targets have been met.
* A proven track record having built relationships within the pharmaceutical industry with high-level clients to ensure you can hit the ground running!
* Strong communication skills to ensure you can liaise cross-department to build relationships and improve efficiency.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team to hit pre-agreed sales targets
