Job Description

This busy brand marketing and communications role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing the brand, product & communication strategy for all commercial brands & products to maximise volume & profit opportunities in line with the company objectives
  • Develop & implement brand strategies for all commercial brands to achieve competitive advantage and maximise volume and profit opportunities
  • Manage and communicate changes to product ranges internally and to trade partners
  • Ensure effective product launches and provide relevant training externally to key market sectors and internally
  • Produce supporting product literature & presentations
  • Work with PR agency and Communications Officer to ensure optimum representation of the business & its products & services in the press
  • Develop and manage targeted advertising plan in specialist industry media (print & online)
  • Develop and manage social media & content strategy for the products
  • Develop & implement annual programme of customer & industry events, working with Events Manager where relevant
  • Monitor & interpret market share development, trends in the industry and competitor activity
  • Initiate research into new sectors and opportunities as required.
