Associate Director | Youth Insight | Central London | £40-50k
We're looking for an ad hoc associate director to join a youth insight team of a leading research agency. You'll work with commercial clients (including Puma, The FA, Spotify, C4) as well as government departments (The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills) and leading charities (Macmillan).
The client & role:
A 25 strong specialist research business. Projects are hugely varied spanning multiple methodologies and research disciplines. Key clients include Puma, Spotify, Tic Tac, The FA, YMCA, Barclays, Which?, O2, Sport England and Channel 4, BBC, ITV, Sky, UKTV. They ran an array of projects for clients looking at new product development, advertising development, segmentation, satisfaction studies, brand & advertising research etc and innovation.
As an associate director you'll lead a team of 4 and you'll have a lot of autonomy to run research projects. You'll be hands on running projects end to end. You'll have lots of client contact and be actively involved in proposals, pitching and onboarding new clients. The role is quant focussed but there are also opportunities to get involved with qual - even if you have no qual experience they can train you up.
5 years plus research experience
Solid quant research skills - an appetite for qualitative research - any prior experience is of course welcomed
An interest in youth culture, youth brands is essential
End to end project management experience
Experience line managing / mentoring
A good story teller.
