Working with a broad range of clients on a regional, national and international level, the role of Account Manager will involve taking sole ownership of a number of client relationships as well as providing support to Account Directors on other key accounts. You will be working across different specialisms including: advertising, print, creative, brand development, digital and marketing enabling you to gain exposure to many different industries and disciplines.
Operating as part of a close-knit client services team, this is a busy, fast paced and varied role working on multiple projects requiring excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Key responsibilities will include responding effectively and efficiently to any client queries or problems, challenging client briefs in a diplomatic and practical manner in order to reach a workable solution, presenting work in a confident and compelling manner to clients, as well as maintaining ongoing, productive and positive relationships with clients.
This role would suit someone coming from a marketing agency background who has a strong understanding of the full marketing mix, knowledge of the print and production processes as well as knowledge of digital processes and technologies. You will need to confidently discuss your ideas and contribute towards team meetings as well as be able to recognise when to escalate an issue to the more senior members of the team.
You might currently be an Account Executive or Junior Account Manager who is looking for your next step, or you may even be a Project Manager within a marketing agency who is looking for a switch into a more account management focused role. Either way, we are keen to hear from you!
Due to the location of their Cambridgeshire based office, this position is commutable from Cambridge, Newmarket, Saffron Walden, Bishops Stortford, Royston, Biggleswade, Bedford and St Neots.
