Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

  • Play a fundamental role in moving the business forward by adding value to their growing client base
  • Write client briefs for all non-digital and digital projects and ensure they are delivered but in-house teams in a timely manner
  • Main point of contact for all clients on project status and communicating with in house teams, external teams and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered
  • Have a strategic in-put on all non-digital projects and managing all print collateral projects
  • Regular liaising with clients by phone and email
  • Manage external technical copywriters and proofread work
  • Manage and coordinate the media space – buying booking and ad scheduling on behalf of clients
  • Carry out research projects and reports on behalf of clients
  • Contribute and strengthen their PR approach with the help of sub-contractors

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have a degree in a marketing related subject
  • 2-3 years post-graduate experience in an agency environment
  • A pro-active self-starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Strong copywriter and proof reader
  • Able to work well under pressure whilst demonstrating strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
