We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join an independent and notoriously curious eCRM agency that is committed to developing ideas in an innovative way.
This multi award winning digital agency partners with some truly fantastic and inspiring brands in the telecommunications, retail and FMCG sectors. What we find so wonderful about their client list is that they have been able to have some real fun with the conceptual and executional side. Blurring the boundaries of what’s seen as the norm.
To be suitable for this role as Account Director you will need to have solid background in either eCRM or CRM, working across ideally a flagship account. The more creative the better.
We know the following may sound a little cliché but please bear with us….
Due to the nature of the team and client the successful individual will need to be happy working either from home but spending 2 days per week on site at the clients office. Therefore this long term contract will suit someone who is comfortable with self management as well as being on secondment as a consultant in the client office in Uxbridge.
You will also thrive on multi-tasking and taking ownership of your own projects. Given your solid account management experience, you will be able to hit the ground running, and immediately demonstrate your knowledge of direct response channels (digital and offline), data management and agency processes.
In addition, we would like you to be ambitious and a strong opportunity seeker, being able to identify where opportunities lie. Being a self-starter you will be comfortable with taking on new projects and are used to building great client relationships.
I’ve personally known the CEO for over 15 years so am more than able to give you a deeper insight into the person behind the agency as well as the short to mid-term vision for the agency.
Team personality wise, we’d say a little quirky and lots of fun. As you walk around the agency its very team spirited with lots of banter. You get the sense that people enjoy themselves here.
Finally, and most importantly… NO MICRO MANAGEMENT! Not a sniff. They don’t believe it in. Therefore, you should big and bold enough to handle your game. Naturally there is support and as much as you need but they don’t want to be wiping your nose if you catch our drift.
In return for your experience as an Account Director our client offers a competitive salary ranging between £50-60k plus benefits.
Again please note this is a 9-12 month contract with the possibility of going perm. You will be primarily based from home as this agency has adopted a Remote First approach. However you can go into the office as much or as little as you like. Although 2 days per week you will be expected to be on site at the client location in Uxbridge, working with the UK/EMEA marketing director and team to help ensure they are on the right track.
