Our Account Directors play a key role within the Client Services team. They are the facilitators in the creation and application of great strategic insight to develop game changing ideas. They are the architects of the best possible outcome, inspiring people and the agency to excel.
We have a great opportunity for a driven, ambitious and highly organised Account Director to join the team working with one of our long standing and prestigious clients. Leading a cross functional team, you will be responsible for further developing the client relationship and delivering innovative, best in class data driven CRM activity that drives growth and profile.
What you will do…
- Be the owner of key client relationships and the first point of contact for primary clients, providing strategic direction for all aspects of the account
- Have a full understanding of our role within the client’s agency landscape, relevant contacts and identify opportunities for the agency
- Balance the time/quality/cost equation to ensure all quality standards are met whilst maximising levels of profitability
- Champion creative ideas and drive a shared creative ambition with the client
- Be a strong, visible and inspirational leader, nurturing your team’s development
- Forge strong and productive professional relationships across departments and with clients
What you will need to succeed…
- You will be an established agency Account Director, with experience of managing client relationships. Extensive CRM experience and a strong grip on data are essential
- An advanced level of strategic and integrated marketing knowledge and ability to effectively apply theory
- The ability to quickly and accurately assess situations, take decisions with authority and effectively solve problems
- A sound understanding of big picture finances and commercial implications
- Strong influencing and persuasion skills both internally and with clients
- You’ll be resilient, collaborative, positive and diplomatic; inspiring confidence in the team around you
- A genuine interest in guiding and developing your team at all levels to reach their potential
- A sense of gravitas, you’ll be a strong leader with excellent people management skills
