Account Director (12-month FTC) – B2B / Tech Agency – Central London – to £60k
Global B2B / Creative / Tech agency seeks experienced Account Director for 12-month FTC.
Ideally beginning in January, this role could go permanent after 12 months if both sides are in agreement.
This 100-strong agency is split between three cities, including London and Chicago. You will be based in Clerkenwell, home of the London office.
Best described as a B2B tech, creative and design agency, it has an integrated offering including but not limited to strategy, branding, digital and content.
The agency boasts an impressive client list and your key account will be a piece of global corporate business. The agency has a great culture and operates under a pretty flat structure.
The Account Director role
This is a classic Account Director role where an integrated agency track record is essential, ideally along with B2B experience.
Project delivery is undertaken by the Project Managers at this agency – typically you would manage two PMs alongside dedicated creatives and strategists.
Chiefly the role involves managing relationships and being a trusted advisor to the client.
The key account is a large global corporate client with a fairly complex business that changes frequently, therefore experience of a large corporate business, eg Financial Services (PWC, a bank or similar), will give you an advantage.
You will steer projects, so strong client relationship management skills and strategic nous are essential.
The type of projects you oversee will largely depend on your background and the agency’s current workload but are likely to include email, direct marketing, brochures, creative campaigns, content, video and web.
As you will be working as part of a large global team, it is vital that you are as comfortable building relationships remotely as you are in the room.
There is also scope for international travel to deliver experiences and cement client relationships.
